Install KDE Plasma 5.2 in Ubuntu
Open Terminal and run the following commands to download and install Plasma on Ubuntu systems.
sudo add-apt-repository ppa:kubuntu-ppa/ppa
sudo apt-get update
sudo apt-get dist-upgrade
sudo apt-get install kde-standard kubuntu-desktop
sudo apt-get install kubuntu-plasma5-desktop plasma-workspace-wallpapers
You will have to select the default display manager during the installation, select the default LightDM. Once installed, please restart the system and at the login, click on the Ubuntu symbol and select Plasma.
